Welcome back! Whether you’re a veteran student or a first year rookie, we hope you share our excitement for the start of a new school year! With summer bucket lists completed, books bought, and awkward tan lines (un)successfully hidden, the ladies of Alpha Xi Delta are ready to begin their fall semester.Though the return of classes, exams, and that dreaded alarm clock might not seem like your idea of fun, it signals the return of our lovely sisters! After a summer apart, bigs, littles, twins, pledge classes and roommates will all be reunited. And just like that, a rainbow of “ΑΞΔ” lettered clothing will spread across campus. However, despite how proud each Alpha Xi is to display her letters on campus, our vast supply of tees, sweatshirts, hats, and bags is not endless (as hard as that is to believe). When laundry day does roll around, our sisters are a little more difficult to spot. But have no fear— the women of Alpha Xi Delta are most likely to be found at any of the places mentioned below:
Thompson Library:
Day or night you’re likely to find an Alpha Xi on any of the Thompson’s floors. Some of our favorite spots include the Grand and Buckeye Reading Rooms (for those who need large, open spaces to study), the Berry Café (snack breaks are essential during a cram sesh), and the 11th floor (you can’t beat that view!).
Resource Room
Tucked into a corner of the Union’s second floor, this room is one of the most indispensible resources available to all OSU students. The ladies of ΑΞΔ are not strangers to the Resource Room’s useful services, which includes low cost access to printing, enlargements, lamination, poster supplies, games, sports equipment, and various books and tip sheets.
